Richard Higlett and Emma Price will be developing a space in Cardiff as a temporary gallery space which will host a 12 month program of exhibitions by invited curators. The focus for Goat Major will be curatorial practice and is planning a series of talks along side the exhibition program that explore the ways in which space is negotiated and critical dialogues are formed around groups of artworks.
GOAT MAJOR is situated in a building that formed part of a large Victorian laundry in Llandaff Cardiff. It forms part of the Printhaus artists workshops complex. Situated in walking distance of Chapter, Cardiff's foremost art centre and gallery for contemporary art it is also close to Oriel Canvas and the Print Market Workshop.
