A Short Film About the History of Light from a Lightbulb (draft)
images with original soundtrack

Light and Sound are both frequencies and given that the duration between peaks and
troughs in billions of years, time is also a wave.
A film of a light (and the lamp shade) where the recording (time) of light (relative to time) is accompanied by
music (also time).

A film about driving (Westworld)
This short film is really about the audio than the footage.
Lyrics were written in the standard verse chorus format of a pop song but
no music was used.
(This may form part of a future project were one sheet of lyrics is made into 20 different songs.)
The words were then read by an automated voice and tweeked so a sense of a melody or a tune was created by the spacing along with a rhythm from the size of words. The words are very emotive while the machine voice performs without empathy. Minimal instrumentation was added to make it appear more song -like. Before each section the voice announces what part it is, Verse or Chorus or Middle Eight etc
As the piece moves onwards it is attempting to be emotive but the ending repeated till fade
returns to the dislocated and mechanical voice. To cite a parallel to what I was looking for, in the film ' Westworld' when one of the human character makes love to an android replica of a  woman, at her moment of climax her eyes sparkle, implied experience although the feeling is, as in this piece, fabricated.

The Starman (work in progress) sits, observes and draws what he sees.....always.
