Richard Higlett is an artist/curator and co-founder of Goat Major Projects. Previously he worked for Cardiff Council on the 2005 Centenary Celebrations where he was involved in creating the first Cardiff Contemporary with the then Visual Arts Forum of Cardiff. He initiated Artists Resource Cardiff (www.artcardiff.com) in 2007, this is now called ArtCardiff. He worked as an artist consultant on the Cardiff Contemporary initiative and has worked as a consultant for the Arts Council of Wales. In 2009, he was Project Manager for Wales at the Venice Biennale. He has maintained his practice as an artist and curator and exhibited nationally and internationally, his most recent exhibition at the ICA, London. Since April 2012, he has developed a small project space in Canton, Cardiff. Goat Major Project has had 7 exhibitions to date and will be developing its profile in 2013 as a space for sound art in an international context. In November 2012 he will presenting a new piece "Music by Cars" as part of Experimentica at Chapter, Cardiff.

Bu’n gweithio gyda Chyngor Caerdydd ar ddathliadau Canmlwyddiant 2005, lle gweithiodd gyda Fforwm Celf Weledol Caerdydd ar gychwyn project Caerdydd Gyfoes. Ef a roddodd gychwyn i Adnoddau Artistiaid Caerdydd (www.artcardiff.com) yn 2007. Adwaenir y sefydliad erbyn hyn fel CelfCaerdydd. Gweithiodd fel ymgynghorydd artistig ar fenter Caerdydd Gyfoes ac mae wedi gweithio fel ymgynghorydd hefyd i Gyngor Celfyddydau Cymru. Ef oedd Rheolwr Project Cymru yn Biennale Fenis yn 2009. Mae’n dal i weithio fel artist a churadur ac wedi arddangos yn genedlaethol ac yn rhyngwladol. Roedd ei arddangosfa ddiweddaraf yn yr ICA yn Llundain. Ers Ebrill 2012, mae wedi dyfeisio a chreu gofod project bychan yn Nhreganna, Caerdydd. Mae Project Goat Major wedi cynnal 7 arddangosfa hyd yn hyn, a bydd yn datblygu ei broffil yn 2013 fel gofod rhyngwladol ar gyfer celf a sain. Ym mis Tachwedd 2012 bydd yn cyflwyno darn newydd o’r enw “Cerddoriaeth gan Geir” fel rhan o Experimentica yn Chapter, Caerdydd.
